Gratitude is a mobile app design project focused on mental wellness, built around the idea that small daily rituals — journaling, affirmations, and reflection — can help people feel more like themselves again. The brief was to design a warm, approachable companion for practicing gratitude every day.
The concept was grounded in research on habit-building and mindfulness apps, translated into a soft, pastel visual language of lavender, blush pink, and warm yellow, and structured around four core rituals — Journal, Affirmations, Daily Zen, and Vision Board — designed to feel playful rather than clinical.
The interface was built around a friendly illustrated character system and rounded UI components: a personal journal with daily streaks and prompts, categorized affirmation decks, a scrollable Daily Zen feed of quotes and reflections, and a Vision Board for manifesting goals — all sharing one consistent bottom navigation.
The final result is a complete app flow — onboarding, journal, affirmations, daily zen, and vision board — unified by a soft pastel palette and a warm illustrated mascot, demonstrating strong skills in UI system design, mobile flow structuring, and tone-driven visual identity.
As the Product/UI Designer for this project, I led the entire process, including conceptual research, moodboarding, color and typographic direction, illustration direction, screen-by-screen flow design, and the final composition of the app's core sections.
