Maison Douceur Web Design Process
Context
Maison Douceur is a desktop web design project created for a French-inspired artisanal bakery with 120 years of history, bringing together its story, online shop, and reservation system into a single warm and inviting digital experience.
Strategy
The direction was built around a warm burgundy and cream palette paired with hand-drawn bakery illustrations — a baker, croissants, bread — and an information architecture that prioritizes storytelling, the daily menu, online ordering, and table reservations.
Implementation
The website was designed page by page — Home, Panadería Artesanal, Selección de postres with add-to-cart product cards, a reservations form, and a contact and map section — using a consistent component system of buttons, cards, and illustrated icons throughout.
Outcome
The final result is a complete desktop web experience — from the home page and history section to the online shop, reservations form, and salty dishes menu — unified by a cohesive visual identity that feels both artisanal and trustworthy.
